Why itmatters.
The Captain V is Dongfeng's compact petrol van, built for hard daily work. It comes in three sizes, from 2.3 to 3 tonnes gross, as a two-seat panel van with 5.3 to 7.58 cubic metres of cargo space or as a passenger van with up to 11, 14 or 18 seats. A 5-speed manual, leaf-spring rear and hydraulic brakes keep it simple, and Dongfeng's specification table lists it with left or right-hand drive.
