The ZNA Rich 7 is the newer sibling of the ZNA Rich 6 Pro in our line-up, on the same 3,150 mm wheelbase: a body-on-frame double cab built by ZNA, Dongfeng's pickup maker. Dongfeng builds it with a 2.0 litre turbo petrol or a 2.3 litre turbo-diesel, as the Tiger Roar off-roader, and as the Rich 7 EV, a dual-motor electric with four-wheel drive. Three versions are on order for Jamaica, all automatic: the Tiger, the Y75D and the Rich 7 EV.

Electric, with four-wheel drive
The Rich 7 EV has two 180 kW motors and a 77.28 kWh CATL battery for 430 km (CLTC). On DC, at up to 70 kW, it charges from 30 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes.

Power on the job
The EV runs tools and equipment through vehicle-to-load, and is rated to carry 940 kg in its 1,510 mm load bed.

Built tough
A ladder frame with double-wishbone front suspension, proven over 2.3 million km of testing in extreme conditions.

Petrol or diesel
A 2.0 litre turbo petrol with 168 kW and 360 Nm, or a 2.3 litre turbo-diesel with 122 kW and 420 Nm, each with a 5-speed manual or 8-speed automatic.

Tiger Roar, made for rough country
232 mm ground clearance, steel bumpers, underbody plates and rock rails, with front and rear locking differentials and a snorkel on the top trim.

Tows 2.8 tonnes
The Tiger Roar comes with a factory tow package rated at 2.8 tonnes, trailer wiring included.
