Why itmatters.

The 917 is M-Hero's full-size luxury off-roader, sold in some export markets as the MHERO I, and the more powerful sibling of the MHero 817 we sell. Choose fully electric, with four motors and 800 kW, or extended range, where three motors drive the wheels and a 1.5 litre turbo petrol generator keeps the battery charged. Air suspension, locking differentials and up to 900 mm of wading depth take washed-out roads in their stride.

Over 1,000 horsepower

The Electric uses four motors for 800 kW and 1,400 Nm, and reaches 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds.

Electric with a range extender

The Extended range drives on three electric motors while a 1.5 litre turbo petrol generator charges the battery: 175 km on electricity, up to 825 km in total (WLTP).

Built for hard terrain

Body-on-frame construction, front and rear differential locks, up to 900 mm wading depth and the ability to climb a 100 percent gradient.

Height-adjustable air suspension

Adaptive air suspension raises or lowers the body over 150 mm, for up to 335 mm of ground clearance in off-road mode (326 mm on the Extended range).

Rear-wheel steering and crab walk

The rear wheels steer up to 10.6 degrees for a 5.1 m minimum turning radius, and Crab Walking Mode moves the 917 diagonally at low speed.

Luxury cabin

Nappa leather seats that heat, ventilate and massage, front and rear, 16 Dynaudio speakers, a 15.6-inch centre screen, a passenger screen and a head-up display.
