Why itmatters.
The X700 is the first model in M-Hero's new X series: a large five-seat SUV with four-wheel drive and air suspension, co-developed with Huawei for its driver assistance. Like the MHero 817 we sell, it is a plug-in hybrid: up to 360 km on electricity (CLTC), with a 1.5 litre turbo petrol engine for longer trips. It is brand new, and so far on pre-sale in China only.

Smart driver assistance
Qiankun ADS 5 driver assistance reads the road with 27 sensors, working with intelligent chassis control and a head-up display.

A smoother ride
Magnetorheological dampers, dual-chamber air springs and road-preview control. M-Hero says the chassis cuts cabin jolts by over 40 percent and body roll by over 30 percent.

518 kW plug-in hybrid power
A 1.5 litre turbo engine and front and rear electric motors give 518 kW and 10,000 Nm at the wheels, with 0 to 100 km/h in 4.93 seconds.

Long electric range
The 68.1 kWh CATL battery gives 360 km on electricity and over 1,300 km in total with a full tank (CLTC).

Real off-road numbers
Approach angle 37.5 degrees, departure 38.3 degrees, up to 328.8 mm ground clearance, 800 mm wading depth and 13 drive modes, including one-touch AUTO.

An 850 L boot, a second row that folds flat into a 2 m bed, a cool and warm box, a 6 kW power outlet for outdoor gear, and 9 airbags as standard.
