Why itmatters.
The Free+ builds on the Free and is sold in China. It shares the Free's 2,960 mm wheelbase and range-extender drive, then adds Huawei driver assistance with lidar, a 29-inch augmented-reality head-up display and a front passenger seat that reclines to 163 degrees with a powered leg rest. It is range extender only: there is no fully electric Free+.

Driver assistance with lidar
The driver assistance system reads the road with a 192-line lidar and 29 sensors in total.

A 29-inch augmented-reality head-up display, a 15.6-inch centre screen and five linked screens.

Magic-carpet chassis
On the AWD versions, adaptive dampers and air suspension with 100 mm of height adjustment. Every version sits on a chassis that is over 90 percent aluminium.

Lounge-like seats
The front passenger seat reclines to 163 degrees with a powered leg rest and 8-point massage. The rear seats recline electrically.
